As Lexington marks its 250th anniversary, Origins Jazz Series proudly presents Equinox Jazz Fest—a five-day celebration where the legacy of jazz meets its future. The festival features a stellar lineup of artists, including NEA Jazz Master Kenny Garrett, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra alum Camille Thurman, and groundbreaking rhythm innovators Nate Smith and Brandon Meeks. Spanning the full range of modern jazz, the program highlights both legendary figures and emerging voices, blending traditional sounds with bold experimentation. Whether it’s the sophisticated vocals of Rose Colella, Garrett’s deep-rooted grooves, or the boundary-pushing percussion of Tim Daisy and Chris Corsano, every performance invites audiences into jazz’s endless evolution.
