The Melroy is downtown Lexington’s private social sanctuary—an elevated gathering space where community, culture, and conversation converge. Nestled within a historic landmark at 144 N. Broadway, this 6,000 sq ft club harmonizes refined relaxation with thoughtful engagement. We were born from a desire to channel what we take from the world back into it—expanding lives, honoring diversity, and nurturing meaningful social interactions. The Melroy Cafe - 10 seater co-working table, window view work space, along with specialty coffee & tea beverages, and grab and go food items.
Concierge - The words here are concierge & care. Through concierge services and one-on-one attention, we take the time to know each of our members—their preferences, passions, and pursuits. This helps us create programming that our members are looking for.
Retail store - 1s & 2s of specialty and luxury items specifically chosen with members in mind. As an added benefit, with our off-premise liquor license, we are able to offer specialty bottles of spirits and wines in our retail store.
Main lounge & Bar - 143-seater lounge with comfortable seating, pool table, entertainment stage, and convertible private space.
Self-service hospitality bar with snacks, beverage cooler, self-service tea & coffee bar.
Parking - Valet parking on the weekends along with negotiated pricing on neighboring lots for our members.

On the horizon - Roof top bar with North Broadway facing cigar space
We have found roof top construction to be more cumbersome than not, but we have not halted. At this time, we have completed 90% of our structural support for the roof top experience and are working through the last 10% which require extending emergency exiting outside of the building. We are continuing to raise funds for this endeavor. If you are interested in a partnering with us to create this space, we welcome a conversation. We already invested a half a million dollars into the structural project, and it will cost another $1.7M to complete.
Membership & Community
Open to socially conscious professionals aged 35 and up, our membership fosters a warm, worldly, and talented network across Lexington—people who seek connection, culture, and authenticity. Reciprocal arrangements with clubs in cities like Atlanta, Nashville, St. Louis, Charlotte, and Tampa enhance your access and experiences.
Do we welcome members under 35? Absolutely. Maturity isn’t defined by age. Because The Melroy is intentionally designed as a social space for adult professionals, we invite interested prospects under 35 to connect with us for a call and tour. This ensures we can thoughtfully support your needs and help you thrive as a younger professional within our community.
